キュベ・クラリスは、魅惑的なアロマと温かみのあるアルコールを持つ、濃いルビー色のビールです。飲む前に香りを嗅ぐと、全粒粉のパン、プラムやレーズンのようなドライダークフルーツ、ほのかなチョコレートの風味の特徴が楽しめます。そして全体的に少しトーストしたような感じもします。
味わいは香りの要素に、リコリスとキャラメルのタッチが加わり、香りよりもやや複雑です。最後にかすかなフランダースのレッド・ビールのような酸味とハーブの香りが複雑さを増します。
キュベ・クラリスは9.2％という高いのアルコール度数を感じさせない飲みやすさです。ねっとりと甘く、バランスが良く、滑らかでフルボディのビールです。温かくもフレッシュで、危険なほど美味しいです。
Cuvee Clarisse is a dark, ruby-red colored beer with a seductive aroma and a warming alcohol content. A sniff before drinking reveals an enticing aroma of whole grain bread, dried dark fruit like plums and raisins, a subtle hint of chocolate and a general, slightly toasted feel. The taste is similar, however slightly more complex, with touches of licorice and caramel. Towards the end a faint Flemish red beer like sourness and herbal notes add to the complexity. Cuvee Clarisse has an alcohol content of 9.2%, but is nonetheless easy to drink. It’s a sticky-sweet, well balanced, smooth and full-bodied beer. Warming yet fresh, it is dangerously good.
