テットゥ・ド・モール・X-MASは、「テットゥ・ド・モール」シリーズの新しいビールで、2022年に誕生しました。姉妹品と同様、アルコール度数が8.1％と高いフルボディタイプのビールです。ラベルに描かれた骸骨には、お祝いのサンタクロースの帽子があしらわれています（「テットゥ・ド・モール」はフランス語で”ドクロ”を意味します）。骸骨なので、髭を生やすのは少し難しいのですが。

テットゥ・ド・モール・X-MASは、新しいブランドですが、冬の美味しいエールの条件をすべて満たしています。この美しいブラウンビールは、しっかりとしたパンチがあり、飲むとすぐにコリアンダーやリコリス、キャラメルのアロマが広がります。味わいの中にこの特徴は再び現れ、チェリーとレーズンのフルーティーなフレーバーが加わります。更にチョコレート、イチジク、ベリーのタッチ、モルティで砂糖のような甘さが加わり、後味は更に豊かなものとなります。

Tete de Mort X-mas is a new beer since 2022 in the Tete de Mort range. Just like its siblings, Tete de Mort X-mas is a full-bodied beer with a high alcohol percentage of 8.1%. For the occasion the skull on the label – Tete de Mort literally means skull in French – is dotted with a festive Santa Claus hat. Being a skull though, growing a beard is a little bit difficult.

Pleasantry aside, Tete de Mort X-mas might be a new brand on the market, but it clearly ticks off all the boxes for a good winter ale. This beautiful brown beer has a sturdy head and immediately impresses with its aroma of spices; coriander, liquorice and caramel. In the taste these characteristics return, added with fruity flavors of cherry and raisin. The aftertaste becomes even more rich, with touches of chocolate, figs and berries topped off with a malty and sugary sweetness.
