On a sunny day, a small gnome enjoying a day out met a small, fluffy, white cloud. It is said that this chance-encounter resulted in a beer that was obviously lighter than anything the gnomes had brewed before; Chouffe Lite, with only 4% abv half of the regular La Chouffe, was born.

While the alcohol percentage might be lower than usual, the flavor experience is in no way cut in half. Chouffe Lite is surprisingly full-bodied and smooth. In the nose, the typical aroma of Belgian yeast comes forth, complimented with fruity touches of apricot and banana. The taste is wildly varied, with spicy notes and clearly recognizable cereal flavors as protagonists.
Towards the end a subtle bitterness emerges, which flows into a smooth, round finish.
